Teaching mathematics online at the first year of grammar school
Flejberková, Dorota ; Kaslová, Michaela (advisor) ; Vondrová, Naďa (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with equations introducing at 8-year gymnasium in the framework of teaching online. This thesis is focused on an action survey in a context of teaching online in prima of 8-year gymnasium. This is a series of lessons focused on equations which were taught at Gymnázium OPEN GATE. The aim of the thesis is to follow the shift in a didactic area in a non-standard form of teaching. The diploma thesis is based on the theoretical background, the practical part is focused on a teaching experiment. For reaching the aim, the following tasks were established: -To discuss possible forms of teaching online. -To summarise the theory of linear equations. -To analyse textbooks for both primary school and lower-secondary school first from the viewpoint of a preparatory stage of equations and then the propaedeutics of equations in the framework of lower-secondary school. - To record the surveyed events connected by reflection. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is divided into four chapters. The practical part follows the theoretical one; it is based on analyses a priori of continued reflection. The description of scripts implementation is accompanied by a continued reflection and a posterior reflection. The conclusion provides the key...

Organizational forms of teaching in English lessons at lower secondary schools
DOUDOVÁ, Andrea
The main goal of this diploma thesis is to point out the use of various organizational forms of teaching in English language classes at lower secondary schools. The diploma thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of four chapters. The first chapter presents a general list of organizational forms, the second chapter expands this list. In the third chapter, I present an alternative division of organizational forms of teaching according to Červenková and Maňák. According to these two authors, I also point out the confusion of two terms, namely organizational forms of teaching with teaching methods and vice versa. In the fourth chapter, I mention the current topic of informational technology in education and the organizational forms associated with this teaching. At the end of the theoretical part, I present a preliminary research on the issue of organizational forms and cite some previously conducted researches. This chapter is continuously followed by a practical part, which consists primarily of quantitative research conducted through a questionnaire. First, the starting points of the research are formulated and then the results of the research and the final evaluation of information on the representation of organizational forms in teaching and the preference for their use by individual teachers are presented. Based on the data obtained through research from the practical part of the work, this thesis compares the use of organizational forms in teaching in the regular and in the online teaching regime.
Waldorf pedagogy in times of distance education
Košnerová, Štěpána ; Krčmářová, Tereza (advisor) ; Stará, Jana (referee)
The thesis deals with distance education at Waldorf primary schools in Czech Republic, which occurred under the influence of COVID-19 pandemic. Theoretical part of the thesis describes alternative concept of Waldorf pedagogy, its theoretical background, and principles. Further on, it deals with the definition of the term "distance education" and its relationship to the period of school closure. In the field of distance education, the term "e- learning" is defined, which has become a contemporary tool of education. Empirical part of the thesis aims to examine the effect of the transition to distance education during the pandemic on Waldorf pedagogy. The method of semi-structured interview is used to determine the results of qualitative research. Prior to the data collection, a preliminary survey was conducted in the form of a meeting with a Waldorf teacher. The aim was to penetrate the situation from the point of view of a Waldorf educator and to formulate interview questions. Subsequently, one test interview was conducted. The acquisition of research data took four months, with a total of twelve in-depth interviews. The average length of one interview was less than 57 minutes. The selection of respondents is subject to three criteria. All respondents are teachers at Waldorf primary schools in the...
Teaching mathematics online at in a selected year of the second stage
Flejberková, Dorota ; Kaslová, Michaela (advisor) ; Vondrová, Naďa (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the introduction of equations in an eight-year Grammar school during distance learning. This thesis focuses on action research in the context of distance learning in the first year of the eight-year Grammar school. It consists of a series of lessons focusing on equations that I have taught at OPENGATE Grammar School. This thesis aims to monitor my progress in the field of didactics. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part itself is further divided into five chapters: Definition of key terms, Closing and re-opening of schools in the Czech Republic with a comparison with other countries of the European Union, Specifics of online teaching, theory of linear equations, analysis of textbooks. The practical part builds a priori on analyses of a continuous reflection. The practical part expands on the theoretical by the creation of scenarios. The description of scenarios is accompanied by a continual reflection and a posteriori reflection. The conclusion presents the key points of the reflection. The analysis and the reflection are put into the context of the linear equation curriculum analysis presented in a selected series of textbooks both at the primary and lower secondary school levels. The practical part was realized...
Teaching Economics at Vocational School from Perspective of Social Sciences Didactics
Linger, Jan ; Zicha, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Tichá, Milena (referee)
The diploma thesis on the topic "Teaching of Economics at a Secondary Vocational School from the Didactics of Social Sciences Perspective" is divided into two parts. The first part is a theoretical one, where the author defines the theoretical didactic concepts in detail, and they are then used in the second, practical part of the thesis. This part presents a proposal of a didactic unit, which deals with the teaching of wage calculation. It includes a worksheet and methodical sheet as well, the detailed didactic preparation and detailed reflection of the implemented didactic unit in the classroom and online teaching. Repeatedly practising this didactic unit, it can be noted that the proposed form of teaching is effective and accepted by students. Personal and social skills, mathematical skills and critical thinking training also go beyond the main topic.
Experience with online teaching at lower secondary school
Divišová, Anna-Marie ; Pavlas Martanová, Veronika (advisor) ; Frombergerová, Anna (referee)
The work deals with the experience of online teaching at the lower secondary school in the English language subject. This is a qualitative research investigation carried out by semi- structured interviews with English language teachers. The work contains authentic testimonies of respondents, experiences and their experience of distance learning in the autumn and winter of 2020. It presents profiles of individual respondents with their quotes. It also discusses the resulting topics such as online teaching in the general sense, where it describes what online teaching means to teachers as a concept, what they imagine underneath, etc. It lists the main circumstances that may have influenced online teaching, from a teacher's point of view. The work is provided with a theoretical framework that mainly approximates the role of communication in online teaching, the motivation of pupils to learn and also presents the results of other research investigations already carried out into distance learning. The main research questions are: how teachers experienced online teaching; what positive and negative aspects were brought about by online teaching in the eyes of teachers; what behavioural or attitude changes were shown by pupils in the online environment in the eyes of the teacher. Research shows that online...
